Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

CAUTION All routes are open to traffic. Obey pedestrian rules of the road unless instructed by a police officer or volunteer otherwise. You are responsible for your own safety.
Cross hwy 89 with aid of police officer. Run across parking lot to S 100 West, turn left. Follow the jogging path around a curve back to the path on Bear Lake Boulevard. Follow markings and volunteer instructions out of town on jogging path. Turn hard RIGHT on Kimbal lane by Pickleville Playhouse and the yellow lighthouse. Follow markings- turn left on Country Club at 3.4 miles, left on Sweetwater at 4.4 miles. Turn right into mobile home community- follow road markings- turn right on Mayfly drive- follow it all the way to the county road/dirt trail. The trail is rugged- be prepared for steep climb/rocks/dust.
This scenic byway offers some beautiful and challenging terrain for approximately 2 miles. Off-road running conditions apply.
To avoid heavy highway traffic, marathoners will turn toward peaceful Meadowville valley area about mile 7. Turn right on North Meadowville road. Running between rustic mountains past working farms and ranches. Yield to animals and watch for heavy equipment (if dogs are present, you may want to walk past them).
Turn left at mile 11 turn right on North Round Valley Drive until the full turning point.
Return by the same route.
Be advised: full sun- mixed trail run sections- animals may be present.
*Mixed pavement and off-road. 500 foot elevation gain and drop miles 6-8 and 19-21. Full sun.
