Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

From the parking lot of the Victor Scott Primary School, walk downhill along Glebe Road, turning left onto Parson’s Road. Follow Parson’s Road to the roundabout and turn left onto Frog Lane. Walk up the hill until you get to the junction with Old Military Road. Turn right here and walk past the preschool, turning right onto the next segment of Parson’s Road. Walk along this winding country road, crossing the junction at the foot of Barker’s Hill and onto Vesey Street. Continue along Vesey Street until you get to the Loyal Hill Pass and Dunkley’s Dairy. Turn left here and walk up the hill to the Railway Trail. Turn left and return to your starting point via the trail, Palmetto Road and Bishop Spencer Road (right after walking under the Glebe Road bridge).
