Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

Route is OPEN to traffic. Obey police when crossing road and follow all traffic laws. When running on a road, please use the West or south edge (the mountain side) of the road both ways, allowing traffic to pass safely.
Cross hwy 89 with police assistance. Run West in the parking area until the jogging path at South 100 West. Turn left. Follow the path going south, following the curve back to Bear Lake Boulevard. Turn right on the jogging path.
Follow the jogging path until the yellow lighthouse and Pickleville playhouse. Turn hard RIGHT on Kimbal lane. Follow markings- turn left on Country Club at 3.4 miles, left on Sweetwater at 4.4 miles. Turn right into mobile home community- follow road markings- turn right on Mayfly drive- follow it all the way to the county road/dirt trail. The trail is rugged- be prepared for steep climb/rocks/dust. follow until turning point at mile 6.55. Return by the same route.
