The Big One. Well, quite big for onsite. 1.5 miles. X-C /Enduro terrain with some tricky technical aspects and lots of fast, flowing singletrack. In drier weather anyway! No long steep climbs, berms or steep downhill sections, but be prepared for some testing terrain in a couple of places and two extremely short and tiny blind climbs that require strong legs and correct gearing. The white route is all onsite with no roads to negotiate. White Route = Red+White+Blue= 1.6miles.

Helmet, gloves and protective glasses should be worn

NOTE* Always ride a route clockwise.

Overview of the full 'white' route: Start at Tom's tree, go down and across East Field and enter the usual Meynell Wood path. After 50 yards turn left and follow the red route with red and white cones. Exit the wood at Holly Tree Cave, go left and join the 'white' coned route grassy and snaky meandering path all the way down to Mason Wood. Ride right across the middle of Mason Wood where it works back up past golf course p

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
