    Description: mixed road and off road, down hill start, climb and flatten with a tough little climb onto the roman road, which is then flat and downhill all the way home.
    Direction: Starting at the top of Stamford road head down to the train station and down mill lane, along Waggon Road heading up Staley Road, At the top continue across the road onto Hey Heads road, this looks like a dirt track, it heads towards carrbrook, when the track comes to a quiet road, bear left and continue along what is a quiet off road path until you reach Carrbrook the primary school you will see on your Right. Turn left here and head up Castle lane keeping bearing left, when you reach the farm at the top of castle lane you need to bear right which is a steep climb to start with but will flatten out and take you along the Roman Road with fantastic views and finally dropping down and bringing you out on Manchester Road on the Mossley/Greenfield boarder, turn left here and continue all the way al
