    The Maharees Heritage Trail is a 10km route that takes in the three bays surrounding Maharees and
    includes a variety of environments - from the sandy seashore to the rocky shoreline. It overlays much
    of the Dingle Way route around Maharees. There are information panels in three locations to help the
    walker orientate and an accompanying heritage trail leaflet which presents interesting points of
    interest on the area relating to the natural and cultural heritage. This route also features on the OSI
    Ireland’s Best Coastal Walks list.
