I have created a new route but it wont let me click on the save button, print, share or d'load buttons.

I have already save 4 routes, but it wont let me save anymore.

    Any ideas?

    Dan

Hi Dan - It sounds like the page may not have loaded completely if these functions are not responding.  There should be an orange loading progress bar across the top of the page, which disappears after page has fully loaded - if it doesn't complete the orange bar will still be there.  If the orange bar is there try refreshing the page to load it again.  If you are still having problems, can you let me know what browser you are using please and I'll try it out here?  Also, it may be worth trying to clear your browser's cache.

    Hi John,

Its still not working. I'm using internet explorer.

If i put the curser over other options it works, but not on thesave, print, share and d'load buttons.

    Strange,

Hi Dan - It seems to work OK here in Internet Explorer and we've not had any other reports of this issue, so I think it must be a local problem.  If you haven't already done so, I would recommend deleting your temporary internet files (Settings, Internet Options, Delete Browsing History).  If this doesn't help it could be casued by one of the browser plugins you have installed, so I would suggest disabling them all to see if this helps (Settings, Manage add-ons), and if it does you could then re-enable the one by one to see which one was causing the problem.

Other than that I'm not sure what to suggest other than trying a different browser like Chrome or Firefox.  Which version of Internet Explorer are you using currently?

    Hi John,

Just tried saving the route from my work PC and it worked fine, so it must be my home PC.

I will go home tonight and do as you suggest.

One question though, i wasnt sure what orange loading progress bar you were reffering to as this only comes up when i choose the automatic route finder. I was doing a manual one. It lets me click on the bottons above but not on the save button.

    Regards,

    Dan

You may not always notice the orange loading bar, as it can dissapear very quickly if all the page resources are cached locally already.  Fingers crossed that clearing the cache and disabling the browser add-ons will help.

I'm unable to share a route to a facebook page.  Route no. 153608 and I'm sure I've saved it because the SAVE icon has gone fron the action bar.  But when I try to share I do not get the dialogue box with the options - and I can't figure out why!  Happy to admit to being a PC numbnut but I do get frustrated when I can't see what I've done wrong.  I'm using this through Firefox, is that likely to be a problem?  Any other ideas, I'd like to hear them.  Should be able to get another user in the village to show me how he does later / tomorrow if neccesary.

I don't think it's anythgng you're doing wrong John - probably just a glitch.  Trying reloading the route again before selecting SHARE.  You can find it on your home page in your My Routes panel after signing in - click View or Edit to load it.

Thanks.  I'd left it overnight, slightly modified the route, saved again and still couldn't share to Facebook.  So I tried in Explorer.  And it went straight away.  I immediately noticed the adds. on Outlook, which I do not see in Firefox.  I wonder if the settings have something to do with this.  I much prefer to use firefox over I.E., and when I get fluent with it I'll consider an add free subscription if I can use it fully in Firefox.

It sounds like you may have a pop-up blocking type add-on installed in Firefox that could be affecting things.  I would recommend disabling any add-ons to see if this helps.  If you are happy to try a different browser I would recommend Google Chrome.
