I am using plotaroute for open water rowing routes/distances, but you don't have a 'type' for Rowing, or even for 'Other'. How about letting us either create our own Category/Type of Route, or at least add an 'Other'?

Hi Peggy - thanks for putting this suggestion forward. The original intention was to develop the site for walking, running and cycling only so that we could keep it very focused and simple. However, we have had a few people request that we develop it to for other activities, so this is something that we are considering. Our overriding aim though is to keep the site simple, so that it doesn't have a complicated user interface and so it is clear who it is aimed at.

I'd also love to see other types. Trailrunning has been very popular lately and when syncing with Garmin, for example, it does matter what type of activity it is uploaded to Garmin Connect.
