    Hi,

    I'm trying to plot a route on the water and therefore have to set the auto-plot to OFF as it wouldn't plot on the water (expected). That means I can't use plotting with waypoints (as this requires auto-plot ON).

    The route looks okay and if I export it as a track (GPX) it is displayed correctly in tracking apps.

    But I want to export it as GPX Route (for use in AIS Pilot) and that doesn't work. It seems to ignore the track points for the route and therefore the whole route file is empty:

    <rte>

    <name>SomeName</name>

    </rte>

    (I left out XML header and footer..)

    any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Harald

    Hi Harald - the GPX Route file export will contain a routepoint for each item in the Directions list, so if you add all the waypoints you want to the Directions you should get what you need.

    Okay, that wasn't obviuous to me..thx!

    It works well..just need to change my way of plotting the route slightly to make it more convenient that's no bother!

    Thx,

    Harald
