It's hard to know what the cause of the problem was Elizabeth but glad it's working OK now.

Louise - Glad you like the site.  If you want to include routes in Microsoft Word documents a good way to do this is to download the route as an image (selected Downlaod from the menu) and then import the image into your word document.

Thank you for your help.  Perhaps turning off the computer and starting again did the trick.  The route is now fixed in the correct place on the map.  I know not why.

I agree with John - 'plotaroute' is an excellent tool, but being able to download into Word would be an excellent facility.

I'm making some routes for a classic car club, and that facility would certainly be very useful.

    Otherwise, I'm loving it!

it happens in the preview and the actual print.

It seems to work OK for me here.  Can you let me know what print options you have chosen please? Also, does the problem happen in the print preview or only when the route is printed on paper? Thanks.

I am using Google Chrome and trying to print my route from Reculver to Plucks Gutter in Kent.

    Thank you.

Hi Elizabeth - can you let me know which browser you are using please and which route you are trying to print and I'll look into it?

I am a novice.... when I pring my route, it dislocates from the map and appears half on the map and half in the sea.  How do I fix that?

I prefer to use a screen capture tool to copy and paste the route into an A4 page in Word - quite often in sections - so that I can enlarge the route over several pages

i do this to capture the paths in more detail (useful in certain terrains)

i also copy the route details so that I have the full information to hand and can save the document for future use

it would be lovely if the PlotARoute product could do all this on its own - it would be the icing on the cake of an otherwise excellent product!
