Thanks for the additional information - we'll look into it and put in a fix soon.

I've also managed to re-create a "Stopover 1" using the replot section function. It looks like the stopover point is put at the drag point used in the replot. Example is at www.plotaroute.com/route/408652. I was using paths display and Bike.

PS  The route was created and adjusted with 'Path' selected.

I've just created a route to show this:

    https://www.plotaroute.com/route/408522

A route was created between two points via the most direct route along the North Downs Way.  In drag mode, the route was adjusted to follow a slight detour.  'Stopover 1' was automatically inserted by the routing system as part of the adjustment.

I can't seem to be able to reproduce this, does anyone have an example of a route whwre this is happening?  Aldo, can you let me know what Map Type you are using when plotting please - Map or Paths?

A direction entry appears with the words "Stopover" as the text (rather than the usual "Turn Left" or whatever.)  I've only noticed this in the last few days so, from what you say below, John, it may be something new coming from the routing service.  But, like Piers, I don't know what they are intended to signify and I have gone through deleting them.

I'm not sure what you mean by stopover points.  The Auto-Plot feature will add directions at key points on the route, based on the data we receive back from the different routing services we use.

I've plotted an "out and back" route using the auto-plot facility and then done a little tweaking using modify at various points along the route. I can see on the directions that "stopover" points have been added in and I curious as to why, and what logic is being used to determine where these are added.
