This should be working OK now.  We've changed the route upload process to choose tbe next nearest point to attach directions to if a point already has directions attached to it.  Provided the waypoints are in the correct order in the file, this should result in waypoints on overlapping sections being handled correctly.

Sorry Ryan, I had misunderstood the issue. I can see the problem now.  I'm not sure there is a easy solution though as waypoints in GPX files don't contain any information about where they are on a route, only their position (lat/lng).  When you upload a GPX file containing waypoints we allocate each waypoint to the nearest point on the route, so I think that's why only one of the co-located waypoints is appearing in the list of directions.  I'll have a think about options to overcome this and see if we can find a solution.

Thank you for the quick reply.

I downloaded the GPX file from the link you provided, and compared them. This still confirms what I wrote in my last post: the outbound directions are being overwritten by the returning directions.

EXAMPLE: The second `wpt` in the file given has the same Lat-Lng as the second to last `wpt`. Looking at the gpx file downloaded from the link you provided, there is only one `wpt` with that Lat-Lng data; that point is the third point, and is using only the returning directions.

I've had a quick look at this and the outbound direcitons seem to load OK for me. This is the route I uploaded: https://www.plotaroute.com/route/481931.

A couple months ago, I created a few routes (they go out, do a little loop, and then follow the same route back) and downloaded them as gpx files. Today, I uploaded one of them to make a change, and any way points that overlapped only had the returning directions, as if it overwrote the departing directions. The GPX file looks to be correct.  Here is the file in question

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
