Important Features of ridewithgps. Save the track

  I looked at the service ridewithgps.com and I saw there those simple things that are not in this service. Saving a track with options: include POI, exclude directions.

   You can choose, save a simple track, save the track + POI as a point, save the track + the legend as a point

  
  plotaroute
  You can save only the track + the legend as points
  POI generally does not save

  
  For us, the most basic is the option to save the track + POI as a point

  Sorry, I'm not sure I understand your question.  When you download a route from plotaroute.com to a GPX Track file, all the directions (what ridewithgps calls "cues") will be included in the file as Waypoints by default. We don't have POI's, although you can add custom notes to the directions, so these would be included as Waypoints too. Are you looking for an option to exclude directions from a GPX download or to only include some of the directions in the download?

  Sorry, just to be clear, you are looking for an option to only include those directions that have symbols or labels in the GPX file - is that correct?

  So, if we added a line to the download form saying "Include Directions" with three options: "All", "POI's" (those with symbols or labels) or "None", would that give you what you need?

  All

  Yes, it might be clearer to refer to Waypoints. I think "All" and "Include Directions" would do the same thing though. There are only really three options:

  1. Add a Waypoint for every direction.
     
     
  2. Add a Waypoint for every direction that has a label or symbol (POI).
     
     
  3. Don't add any Waypoints.

  OK, we'll add an extra option on the GPX Download to include only those directions that have labels or symbols.

  Thanks for a quick implementation!
  A couple of comments (see https://www.plotaroute.com/map/678054)
  1. You can take a label as the name of a point
  <name> Cafe </ name>
  instead
  <name> This Long </ name>
  
  2. Add to POI

  
  

  The waypoint "Hotel" will be in this example
