No worries. It just hit me as I have walked that route. And a few others that seem to have poor "hiiliness".

This looks correct to me Kerry. Based on the elevation data we have, the route does appear to climb slightly at that point, from 33m to 38m over a fairly short distance. This seems to tally with Google Earth too, if you look at the route on there. I'm afraid there will always be some imperfections with elevation data though.

weird formatting in that last message....no idea why. Cannot see any way to edit fonts, etc. Sorry.  Here is the link again  Koala Bushlands West

Sure. if you can access my routes, the easiest one is "Koala Bushlands West" - https://www.plotaroute.com/route/962765?units=km. The "hill" at the 3.240km mark is one example. That section is flat.

Hi Kerry - It looks ok on the routes we've checked here so it may be that it's only a problem with certain routes.  Can you give an example of a route where this problem happens please?

Actually, if you display the elevation profile, that is correct. So there seems to be a problem drawing the lines on the map. One section of red on the map had a 2m increase in elevation over 200m. Walking it is seemed pretty flat. In fact, my memory seems to recall it as slightly downhill, but it was a hot day!

Not a very important issue, of course. But I just happened to turn this option on for a couple of routes that I happen to know quite well. The hilliness aspect (ie red for hills, green for flat, etc) is totally wrong.

Some sections I know are totally flat shown in red. One hill I know is almost a hands and knees climb is shown as green. The topo map (Path) shows the correct contours, so not sure where you are getting the elevation data from. Probably not your fault, but the elevation data, I guess.
