These are mountain biking routes. Sometimes they are on dedicated mountain biking paths (like at trail centres) but are often on bridleways or minor roads.

Hey all,
Does anybody know what the orange coloured path is defined as on the cycle map for the UK?
It doesn't seem to be part of the UK NCN so I'm not sure how its defined and how rideable it is?
Trying to plan a multi-day route across and around the Peak District and the orange path would work well for where I want to go but I don't want to get there and find its really not suitable for a loaded up gravel bike.
