    Hi,

The issue regarding man-made structures has been raised a couple of times on the forum.
The last topic on this seems to be this one, pointing to resources outside of Plotaroute.

I'm not sure the DSM has ever been raised, so I'll add this to the Feature Requests I update the devs about.

    Kind regards,
    Julien

When viewing elevation profiles of routes, I’ve noticed that the data often comes from the underlying terrain and excludes man-made structures. For example, when a route crosses a bridge, the elevation profile shows the riverbed below instead of the roadway above, which is where the route actually runs.

It seems that Plotaroute is currently relying on a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) rather than a Digital Surface Model (DSM). As a premium subscriber and professional user who needs accurate data for USATF course certification maps, I would like to request the option to access surface elevation data. This would allow elevation profiles to reflect bridges and other structures accurately, improving the reliability of the tool for official course documentation.
