Eastleigh - Southampton Common
Suitable for most bikes although there are a few narrow gateways that would make this difficult for trikes/cargo bikes. Not recommended for young children unless supervised as this is on road in places although uses cycling infrastructure where possible.
NB When leaving The Common follow the cycle path markings to join the south bound cycle path. When going through the industrial estate go past the place where they repair ambulances and look for some concrete bollards by a gap in the metal fencing - go through here to join the bottom of the boardwalk (there is a small blue National Cycle Network sign indicating this too).
