Broadway Tower is best approached from the north through the gentle grassland dips of past quarrying on Fish Hill, and this route achieves that; and since it's a good idea to start circular walks at the bottom of the hill - and finish with an easy descent - this one starts in the quieter, more moneyed bits of one of the cutest "towns" in the Cuteswolds. There's some proper hard walking over interestingly rough and "technical" ground, though. On a sunny day, this walk is especially good in the late evening. A caveat: I haven't done the initial path from Broadway High Street to the beginning of the path through Fish Hill woods. Ice creams and teas are available at the visitor centre, just past the tower - from which there are views across the Severn Vale and into Wales. If looking to extend this walk, try wandering over towards Saintbury, whose church looks good whether approached over open pasture from pleasing Willersey, or down the hill from the Fish Hill direction.
