An Urban Stroll (Perigarth Walk 3}
I have adapted this route from the original as follows:
- I have reversed the direction of the route so that the built-up section is right at the start and the rest of the route is mainly green and 'off-road'.
- I have replaced the tramp along the very busy A523 (Macclesfield) Road with the quieter Chester Road followed by a short section in the Ladybrook Valley
- I have also modified the route through Bramhall to include new paths through an area that is now built-up with housing and to utilise nicer paths from Bramhall to Carrs Wood
Overall, the walk still works very well in linking up different green areas through the Stockport suburbs.
