After crossing the Grose downstream you might hit lawyer vines for about 15m as you scramble up the hill to the fire trail.

Getting onto Grose Head North is steep but you shouldn't need to take any risks.

Coming up to Grose Head South is also steep, but again you shouldn't need to take any risks. Staying on the nose of the ridge is easiest. If you try and go up the gully slightly East you'll reach some sketchy climbing problems.
