HML Group Walk Plan From Princetown
Escape and collection points at CPs x2, road crossing collection points. Added loop available @ king's tor if forecast wet windy westerlies don't eventuate.
Heading SE, turning WSW. Forecast gives for a clear, bright, start
to the day with good visibility. However, during the afternoon, the cloud level will fall below the tops of the hills with an increasingly strong, westerly wind with rain later. this will give the group the wind at their backs should it come in. Low visibility on More Established FP.
Interesting day walk for a group of eight, mixed, 15 year olds. 15km. Walking at a steady 3km/h and a stop for lunch/education/ navigation etc this will be a good day walk. If pace is picked up, added loop and stops are available along the route
