LeJOG 2019 Via B-roads
We didn't hurry, travelling around 200 miles a day which is close to Riley Blue's range on a full tank of fuel. Overnight halts were in Trowbridge, Chesterfield, Haltwhistle, Blairgowrie and Dingwall.
We raised over £3,000 for two local hospitals; Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield and The Royal Hospital in Chesterfield, calling in at both en-route.
If the route from Sheffield to Holmfirth meanders, it's because we we'd entered the local 'Tally Ho!' charity drive in aid of Weston Park Hospital that started from the hospital and followed its route until the lunch halt. Other than that, we were on our own the whole way.
