Dead Horse Point
Gerade zum Sonnenuntergang ein schöner Ort für einen Spaziergang am westlichen bzw. östlichen Rand einer zungenförmigen Fels-Plattform hoch oberhalb des Colorado-Flusses, der hier eine tiefe gewundene Schlucht formt - ganz ähnlich dem später im Flussverlauf folgenden Grand Canyon.
Auf der Anhöhe des Spaziergangs gibt es interessante Felsen, wunderbare Ausblicke über die Schluchten und eine interessante Vegetation.
