At comfortable temperatures between 9 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees Celsius, this extended route begins its first half on flat ground, along fields and villages starting in Tiengen, passing through Mengen going further south giving a nice view of the medieval church in Biengen, turning westwards into Hausen and back north provinding a good view of the south end of the Tuniberg and St Erentrudis chapel, passing by the golf course at Munzingen, continuing still on flat ground towards Niederrimsingen and then leading right up onto the Tuniberg. After approximately 1 km uphill, the route continues slightly downhill or flat with two little hills on the way back into Tiengen.
All in all more than 20 km! For the next time I recommend to take some water along, as it might help to stay fit during the last third of this route.
