Brampton Valley Way
Some of the route is missing from the map as the Garmin suffered data corruption part way round the reservoir. The return (not shown) was via the A508 roundabout, Northampton Road and Merry Tom Lane and made the total mileage more like 23 miles.
The Brampton Valley Way is mostly gravelled and has a very slight incline northwards. There are a few hills on the return journey via the villages. Several car parks along the Brampton Valley Way and refreshments available at Brixworth Country Park.
