The route highlight is the portion along the rim of the ravine above the Trent River, the trees and views are worth the walk or cycle. This route is rated, for the mountain bike folks as Blue, mostly due to the roots encountered along the rim. There are a few cutout trails if you don not want to go all the way to the hydro lines. There are a few "seed" trees in the area as well. If doing a walk, it is best to start at Hatton Road off Briardale Road which is the turn off Highway 19A. It can be an up and back or take one of the marked trails to make a loop. Route by Roger Chayer
