This one aimed at bad weather and south westerly to westerly winds.
Meadow Lea is 25 miles. There is the option of walk Mill at 31 miles.
This route really tries to negate a stiff south westerly and therefor meanders a bit.
However, even the last strech from Beeston is strangely not to bad to be fair , despite being almost directly into the wind, but if truely south westerly, then the ridge seems to reduce the wind.
The start is through Carden Park, but if really wet then Holly lane often has floods and so does Rocky lane out of Tattenhall, so there is the alternative through Aldersey and Manorwood to start and a bit flatter.

This route would be excellent for a much shorter 32 miles by simply cutting out the slower loop through Chester and heading straight to Saighton and Waverton to pick up the route.
Probably save this route as Garmin xxx route, as it is really a 2 in one route with the faster short 31 mile route.

About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
