Park on the roadside at the top of Branziert Road North. There is a wide gap in the houses on the 'hill' side of the road, go up here then follow the path left along the back of the houses, it turns right where it reaches the edge of the woods then meets the 'Pipe Track'. Turn left and through the gate, walk as far as desired along the track onto what becomes Ibert Road. Return along the outward route, it's advisable to turn around no further along than where the road turns left downhill. The large house on the left outbound is Auchenibert, designed by Charles Rennie Macintosh. The path is generally flat and hard, though along the edge of the wood it can be uneven and any of the track before the tarmac can be a bit muddy. There is a short incline where the path joins the Pipe Track. Main hazards are taking care where the path is uneven and there can be an occasional vehicle on the pipe track/ Ibert Road.
