Mitsumineguchi, Ryokamisan Road, Chichibu
Can visit Takizawa dam (it is possible to get inside the Dam) and get very close to the water stream coming out from the hydroelectric turbines at huge pressure.
Then follow a very nice road along the lake, start climbing up (there are unused but still serviceable patches of the old road that is great for wild cycling, not marked on this map but very easy to spot as you cycle).
Pass Nitsitsu ghost town (nice pics of the town here: (http://www.kirainet.com/english/nichitsu-ghost-town/)
Get to the maximum elevation of about 1,500m start climbing down all the way to Chichibu station.
