Go out and get a nice smooth warm up in. it should be a pace that brings your heart rate up, but doesnt make give you any lactic build up. On the first major climb into the pinery, just role up to the top try and keep the HR around 145. the next climb about the same but begin to think about pushing it at the tops. Pace it so that youre doing about threshold on the last two climbs. There should be a total of 6 throughout the day. the last two go up towards Micah's old house and then it finishes with Betts ranch. Imagine doing an effort where your following an attack up the fifth and then finishing at the top of Betts ranch. Then a nice steady ride back to the house. I mapped it so that there is little to no climbing until reaching our hill.

About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
