Four Waterfalls Walk, Ystradfellte, Aberdare
A challenging walk with many steps, but the reward of going down is to see the waterfalls! This is an elevated walk with the need to walk down to the river level each time to take in the views.
The final waterfall allows you to cross the river by walking behind it. A fantastic experience, especially if visiting after rainfall.
Take waterproofs as you will get wet, and sensible shoes (and sensible thinking) as it is obviously slippery behind the fall.
This walk returns via a very quiet road with toilets (Pontneddfechan Village Hall) and a pub at 12 High St, Pontneddfechan, Neath SA11 5NP. Along the road walk back, there is also a shop at Rhos Filling Station, Ystradfellte Road, Neath SA11 5US
