Great route if there are strong SW winds, because it is fairly well protected on the legs into wind.
This route is pretty good in bad weather as well, although the narrow lanes at Churlton, Aldford & Marford can be avoided easily by not turning off main route, each time and looses only half a mile in distance, if you cut out all 3 lanes.
This route is in fact a favourite for many reasons.
