Valle Antrona - Cavallo Di Ro
Da sud autostrada A26 per Gravellona Toce che poi diviene s.s. 33 del Sempione. All’uscita Villadossola seguire le indicazioni per il Parco naturale della Valle Antrona.
PARTENZA
Da Cheggio si sale nel vallone del Passo del Fornalino. Raggiunte le Baite dell’Alpe Meri Inferiore dirigersi a destra verso le sovrastanti baite dell’Alpe Meri Superiore. Da questo punto si segue in dolce pendenza una pista forestale per il rimboschimento, fino alla dorsale Cavallo di Ro.

Dorsale Cavallo di Ro fino a quota 1900 metri
Percorrendo la panoramica dorsale Cavallo di Ro si può ammirare la Weissmies, il Pizzo Andolla, il Lago Alpe dei Cavalli, la Forcola, il Lago di Antrona, il Lago di Campiccioli e lo spartiacque che divide la Valle Antrona dalla Valle Anzasca.
