Marsden To Greenfield (accesssible by bus)
Start by using the 184 bus service from Manchester to Huddersfield.
Get off the bus in Marsden village, this is where the walk starts.
At the end of the walk the bus stop 180 is situated outside the Clarance Hotel (Greenfield). This bus can be used for a return journey Via Oldham to Manchester.
Plenty of pubs around Greenfield village for food and/or a well deserved pint (sooner rather than later hopefully after this covid s###!).
Google 'Donkeystone Brewery' for opening times and directions to the micro brewery/ bar.
The train could be used to start and end this route. Manchester to Hudddersfield train (There is a station at Marsden)
At the end of the walk you would need to continue down Chew Valley Rd to the station at Greenfield for the return journey.
