The route is unclear after Rowden's Farm. Take the track ahead, leaving the farm on your left. You come to a green footpath post. Turn left here along an enclosed path. In 50 yeards the path ends at a stile. Climb the stile and keep left along the field boundary. At the corner of the field continue along the top edge of the field. The path should cross this field and enter the wood at the half way point. You need to investigate the edge of this wood to find the stile. There are not any footpath signs, but the stile with the barbed wire is the correct route into the wood. Continue on this rising path following the same line. You come out at the top of this wood where there is a footpath indicator that confirms that that you have been following the public footpath.
