Start at the junction of Macclesfield Rd / Hermitage drive. Head down Hermitage drive through gate to unmade road and cross the River Dane, follow to X Roads, go straight on (Hermitage lane) and follow to X roads, go straight on down Booth bed lane for approx 2 mls till you reach a signpost in front of a White house. Turn around and follow the same road back until you reach Brick Bank road on the right, turn into Brick Bank Rd and follow to the end at the T junction turn left (New Platt lane) and follow to another T junction, turn left (Main Rd.) and after 100 yards turn right (Hermitage Lane) and follow to another T junction go straight across into Hermitage drive and retrace your steps down the lane over the River Dane and back uphill to the Finish/Start.
