Meeting in the Glen cp Pittencreiff Street the route goes west through Crossford towards Cairnyhill. On reaching the easterly outskirts of Cairnyhill join the Fife Pilgrim Way going north (right) past a collection of cottages which leads to an estate house (take the bypass here to avoid the estate house) and continue on to pass farm buildings on the right. After leaving the farm track cross over Lundin Road into Kirkwood Crescent and continue onto Knockhouse Gardens where in a short distance the Knockhouse Farm Rd should be followed left to the Farm. On reaching the Farm go right to continue on the FPW (now Berrylaw Road and generally muddy) to reach William St. Cross over here to enter Cameron St and going right at the end onto Maitland St. At the foot of Maitland St cross over Pittencreiff St to enter the Glen and follow the FPW to just below the Peacock Restaurant where a right should be taken followed by another right to join the road leading back to the car park.

About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
