El acceso al castillo está cortado por el COVID y por exceso de afluencia, y la subida a L'Alt del Pi por la senda que transcurre bajo el tendido eléctrico no es muy aconsejable por falta de sombras. Por el interior, el senderista podrá descubrir algunos atajos o sendas alternativas. En la parte más oriental, llega hasta la fuente de Barraix, pero se puede continuar por senda hasta el alto de EL Garbí
