The Park to the Nott Ride to Fight Parkinson's ride is staged over 3 days. The ride starts the morning of Thursday, 5/16/24 at Tavern on the Green in Central Park, NYC, and ends on Saturday at the Nott Memorial at Union College, Schenectady, NY. The morning of the first day ends at Briarcliff Manor for lunch. We continue to Fishkill, NY. The morning of the second day we head to Rhinebeck (lunch at Matchbox Cafe). Then, on to Catskill, NY. On the last day of the ride, we head out to Slingerlands, NY (lunch at Emma Cleary's Cafe on Route 85). From there, 26 miles to the Nott Memorial in Union College. You can join us for the whole ride or any part of it. I have tried to plot the ride having in mind safety, scenery and keeping hills to a minimum. About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
