Starting at the end of Butts Wynd walk along the Scores towards the Aquarium and then on towards the R&A and Golf Museum. Walk past the Golf Museum and around the Embankment and famous 'Chariots of Fire' monument. Walk towards the New Links Clubhouse and cross the road at the new Caddie Shack near to the Himalayas putting area. Walk back towards the R&A alongside the 1st of the Old Course. Make your way around the front of the R&A and walk right towards Links Road. Walk down Links Road and make a U turn at the bottom heading back up towards the town keeping the Rusacks on the left. Turn left at Auchterlonies and walk back down towards the R&A with the sea in front. Cross the road at the new Hamilton apartments and walk up the Scores making your way back towards Butts Wynd to finish. If Golf ristricts access to the public path on the 1st, the walk will follow the embankment around the back of the R&A. Estimated time of the walk is 30 mins.
