Lav Loop Via Helsby, Pheasent Inn- Very Hilly
Aimed at cafe stop at Rose farm after 31 miles from Lavister. However there are options to stop earlier like Kelsal bike repair cafe after 26 miles. Could also stop more than once. There is Beaston cafe in the field or later at Cleopatra’s.
And if F&E want a Grand Fondo, it could be easily adapted by going to Manorwood cafe and pump lane to Lav, should just get 63 miles in
The Helsby loop is critical to the assent, as it is very hilly in the anti-clockwise direction and also takes in , the appropriate
Y named “Hill lane”, which is steep and a dead end ( I reckon is worse than Chappel lane, which this route does include.
I would meet F&E at Meadow Lea & leave them at top of Wetreins lane & it will give me only a few miles less.
