15 miles. Average 13.7 mph, max 33.9mph. Ride time. 1hr 03 mins. Got my period today.. Been chatting with Anja this morning, made me think more. And maybe go see her in Ohio for 4 days, if she thinks its a good idea.
Temp 72f wind 8mph, did feel bit of a head wind.

Had to go pick up hrt patches lloyds pharmacy chippenham, rowden hill, as out of stock in pharmacies in Calne.
Went up to Bremhill first then down big hill and past Abbeyfields school. Right along London road into chippeham by job centre, over roudabout left to old poilce station and to the traffic lights to join the main traffic. I behaved and did ride through the stationary traffic i waited patiently behind the cars for our turn. Never ridden up Rowden hill chippenham before. on trek bike, summer short bibs red top. I see it's only a 4% hill, thought it might be more..
Slightly apprehensive how i'd be on the main roads of Chippenham. Traffic busy as epected for a Friday afternoon. Least not too late afternoon as would of been heavier traffic. I went around Bridge street round about with the traffic. Trying to comply to riding like they drive, considerate but confident too and within my fittness level and riding style..

Went up studley hill on way back see that is 14.4% hill, couldnt face railway line again, and i was feeling more capable of getting up it maybe.. turns out, i paced myself and was able to get up it slowly. went past school kid walking up it.. we both gave each other a glance of 'yeah its hard going'. proud of myself getting up it not to badly.. i then joined main road down black dog and up it. i did okay with that too. 2-3pm.
