2023 LSU Leg 1a SV To Elks Via Westside 8.5km
-Take highway 3 bridge across and whoopup bridge to get to the Elks.
-On the westide, take the first climb onto the ridge before the train bridge, pass under the bridge to Ridgewood.
-Drop down the gray limestone switchbacks, about half the way down, and then cut up to the houses on single track.
-Follow the red shale to the singletrack just before the Bull Trail stairs.
-Drop down to the bottom and then to the whoopup bridge.
-Cross the bridge and drop off the path to the river sidewalk to Elks.
