Head down Old Brow, enter Mossley Park bearing left across the football pitch, down the steps and immediately up the steps onto Hanover Street. When you reach the bottom of Argyle Street turn right down the zigzag path know as Jacob's ladder. At the bottom turn left up Stamford Road, at the corner turn right as if you are going down Brookfields but keep to the left of the metal railings which will take you behind the houses onto Carrhill Road. Turn right down Carrhill Road passing the top of Mill Lane until you reach New Earth Street. Go down New Earth Street bearing left at the bottom, turn right across the railway line and down to Manchester Road. Cross Manchester Road and follow the path across the river and canal. After crossing the canal bear left upto the bridle path. Go left continue and turn left down the first path. At the bottom cross Roaches lock and exit the car park turning left onto Manchester Road. Immediately after crossing the river cross over and enter Heron Lane. Follow the road going under the railway line, turn right up along side the railway line until you reach Midge Hill, left up Midge Hill, left along Stockport Road finishing at the undertaker's.
