Brevard-EFork Caesar Head 8 11
The NC side of CH is not nearly as difficult as the SC side. It rolls and there is really one section for about 1/4 mile that hard: it avgs around 8%. The decent down the SC side has some rough sections part way down. A few holes, too. Its twisty in places with hairpins.
There are rumble strips after you enter into SC up to the ranger station.
Ascending that SC side is fun once you get in the woods. The switch backs are steep (around 12%) but short. It's a good climb to set a tempo.
Recover well back down into NC because E. Fork from 276 to the Cabins is mostly uphill. For about .25 miles it avgs 12%.
