Q.How frequently are the maps updated on plotaroute?
None of the map providers we use publish schedules for updating their map content, but they will all be updated on an ongoing basis.
Our OpenStreetMap (OSM) maps, which are maintained by the general public, are continually updated on a drip-feed basis from the master OSM dataset as and when chnages are made, but they may take up to 3-4 days to refresh on your device, as the map tiles are cached by your browser and our server. Clearing your browser's cache would result in the latest set of map tiles being requested, but you may need to revist the map again a few minutes after this if fresh map tiles need to be regenerated on our server.
