Add By Foot option on Cycle MapsFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

The By Foot option is now available on all map types.

Many "bike paths" show up the most clearly in the "cycle" map view.  In the "map" map view, they appear as faint grey lines. 

However, in the "cycle" view, the ability to trace the route "by foot" does not appear.  "By car" does, but it won't find the bike paths.  One has to use the "map" view, (remember where the bike path was and find it again), then select the "by foot" choice, in order to have the route follow the bike path.

Request: please enable the "by foot" route selection, in "cycle" view, so that I can plot a bike route on a bike path on the map view which is most distinct.

Thanks for the feedback Joel.  We haven't found a reliable off-road routing service for the Cycle map yet, so we had to remove the Auto-Plot By Foot on this map for now.  We're looking into different providers for this and will add this feature as soon as we can.  It's definitely very high on our priority list.
