Why is it impossible to find the button to save a route with a new name? FORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

I modify my route when I need to make it more chalenging.  I want to save it before I edit it so my original route is preserved. Can't you put a "Save route as" button someplace easy to find?  Like right on the route map? 

Hi David - If you click the SAVE button on the map you should then see a SAVE AS  NEW ROUTE button.  This lets you save a copy of the route with a new ID and name leaving the original route intact.  We're keen to avoid cluttering the map with extra buttons and overlays.
