Hi Jonathan - The best way to do this is to use Google Street View - drag the little peg man in the top left corner oif the map to the street you want to check and you will be able to see a pedestrian view of the street.

I was thinking it would be helpful to identify those paths where walking in the road wasn't necessary. While there are areas that walking in the road is safe, generally knowing if sidewalks are available for most/all of the walk would help me find better locations.
