Thanks for the suggestion.  We tend to rely on the mapping providers to provide this information on their maps, as they are better placed to do this, but if we can relevant source global datasets for POI types that are not shown at a reasonable costs, then this is something we can look into.  In particular, suggestions that have been made so far are car parks and summits/peaks, so these are on our list to look into.
